My Precious.....

I got it! I finally got what I've been waiting for...after months and months of saving my pennies I was finally able to purchase my camera. YAY! Thanks to everyone for the advice! I decided to get the Nikon D3000. I got two lenses and I love it!!! I've been learning how to use it...thank goodness for brilliant friends (Savannah) who don't mind taking the time to show me how to use every little button. Hopefully I'll get to post some pictures in the next few days.

Life hasn't been too exciting! We spent Presidents Day weekend in Jackson Hole with the family. I love Jackson Hole! It is so pretty and wonderful! I love my little nieces and nephews. Lydia slept in the room with Jordan and I and she is already a sleep talker. She kept us up half the night with her gabbing. She is the cutest thing! Ben and Calvin played Band Heroes with us...Ben knows the entire "So Happy Together" song...he's 3. Calvin spent most of his time on the drums, just wacking away! It was great to spend time with family!

Anyway I'd better get going! I'll post some pictures later on this week.

Gratitude...

Lately I have been feeling especially grateful for EVERYTHING! I may not say it out loud as much as I should but I am grateful! I am so lucky and grateful for every aspect of my life. Jordan is the greatest husband/best friend I could ever ask for. He is patient, kind, FUNNY (don't tell him I said this), and just an amazing man! I love him more than I'll ever be able to express in words. I love my family! I have the best parents and parent in-laws ever. They are supportive and giving and really just the best! I love my brothers and sisters (in laws included)...they are honestly my best friends! I love spending time with them! I love love love my niece and nephews, I maybe biased but they are the absolute cutest kids ever! I love my extended family! I love my job! I love the people I work with! I love being back in Logan, despite the cold weather! I love my friends! I have the greatest friends who have put up with me since I was 4 years old up until those I've just met. THANK YOU everyone for being amazing examples to me. I learn from your example and I honestly could not ask for better influences in my life. I love all of you more than you'll ever know!

Sorry for the mushy post, but it needed to be said. Life is great! My birthday was a lot of fun! Still deliberating on the camera, but thank you for all the advice you gave me. I get to go to the Womens Conference this weekend with my mom and sisters. I'm so excited! I need a spiritual reboost so I'm looking forward to it.

The Great Debate.....

Thanks to everyone who left a comment...I'm grateful that I still have friends in the blogging world. For those of you that asked I am not pregnant...hopefully someday, but not yet. I do, however, need some advice. For graduation and my birthday (which is tomorrow for those of you who wish to send birthday greetings:)) I received money. I am looking to get a camera but I can't decide what to get. I have researched and talked to several of you and I have narrowed it down to four cameras. I am looking at the Nikon D3000, Nikon D5000, Canon Rebel Xsi 10.2 MP or 12.2 MP. The Canons are a little more expensive, but all the choices are GREAT! So the question is.....WHAT DO I GET? I don't know if the difference between the MP is that big of a deal...is it? Is there that big of a difference or should I just pick the cutest one? It's a lot of money and I want to make sure that I make a good choice. So I'm calling on all of you to help me please...pretty please! Let me know what you think about the above choices or if you have an even better one. My price limit is roughly $650-700 dollars. Thank you ahead of time for your help and advice!

WE'RE BACK!!!

After a long break from the blogging world we the Oldhams are BACK! Does anyone even follow this anymore?!?!? I sure hope so, because I plan on divulging my deepest and darkest secrets :)
Life has been good to us the last year and a half. I finally graduated from Weber after completing my student teaching at Logan High School this last fall. It was the greatest experience...I had the best students ever! Obviously we are back in Logan. Thank goodness! Ogden was too rough for me. I promise to fill you in on everything over the next week, but I want to make sure that its even worth while. Leave me a comment and let me know you're still out there. Love you all!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JORDAN!!!

Today is my Jordan's birthday...yes I lay claim to him. He is MY JORDAN and I love him so so so much! He is the greatest husband ever and I am so grateful that he was born today..24 years ago. Jordan I hope that you have the greatest birthday ever! I LOVE YOU!!!

UPDATES

Hello everyone! So it has been awhile..I'm sure you've all been on the edge of your seat waiting for an update...so here it is. Life has been really good! Busy...but good! School is crazy for both Jordan and I but we still manage to find time to have weekly Prison Break and OFFICE parties, and watch the new 90210 (Jordan loves it ;))

Tonight I like to give a SHOUT OUT to our little nephew Ben who turns the big number TWO tomorrow. He lives in Alabama, has a pet cat who is shaved like a lion, and is the absolute cutest little soon to be 2 year old ever. WE LOVE YOU BEN! Have a very HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

The latest news in our family...Jordan has a new side job. Jordan has started his own business. For those of you who know my husband, he is the biggest hunting, gun loving, camouflague wearing guy you'll ever meet. I have watched more shows on the HUNTING channel than I ever thought possible. Anyway back to the point of this paragraph...if ANYONE out there has a husband who loves hunting/gaming...Jordan now has a gun license which means that he is a firearm dealer. He can pretty much get you any type of gun that you'd buy at Cabelas or Sportsmans Warehouse for much much much cheaper. He'd love to help anyone out, if there is anyone interested. Even if you have questions just let me know and I'll pass it on to him.

Well that's about it. Life is good! School is out in 10 weeks. Twilight the movie comes out on November 21. Jordan and I are going to Washington DC on October 23-27. I'm so excited! We are so blessed! We love you guys! Keep us updated on your lives! We love hearing from you!
